Za partnerko mu da Nimani, androidko, programirano za izpolnjevanje vseh Milutinovih želja. Ker Milutina dolgočasi neskončno sosledje različnih spolnih igric in preprogamiranih vedenj, se odloči, da bo ponovno zagnal Nimani. Delovala bo na podlagi izkušenj, ki jih je pridobila z njim. Tako postane bližja človeku. Ko se Nimani počloveči, postane depresivna in uničevalna. Milutin ugotovi, da Nimani lahko uniči njuno nalogo in ju pripelje do samouničenja.

Ederlezi Rising is an exciting science fiction story set in near future about the pioneering space mission to Alpha Centauri undertaken by the multinational Ederlezi Corporation. Ederlezi recruits Milutin, a Slav cosmonaut trained in the newly reformed futuristic Soviet Union and accompanies him with Nimani, a female android programmed to fulfill whatever Milutin desires. Bored by an endless succession of different sexual games and pre-programmed behaviors. Milutin decides to reboot Nimani and make her work only based on custom settings generated from her experiences with him. That way he turns her into something closest to a person that an android can ever become. However, upon becoming a person, Nimani gets depressed and destructive. Milutin realizes that Nimani may not only jeopardise their mission but also lead to self-destruction.

Ovdovela 67-letnica Hana je življenje posvetila svojima sinovoma in njunima družinama. V stari, razpadajoči vili jim vsak konec tedna pripravi idilično kosilo, kar ji nehvaležna sinova izdatno poplačata z neprijaznimi besedami. Nekega dne pa Hana med sprehodom ob Vltavi iz ledeno mrzle vode reši utapljajočega se moškega. Brona, ki s kokoško prebiva v predelanem avtobusu, jo vpelje v skupnost zimskih plavalcev. In Hanino življenje, poprej odrinjeno na stranski tir, se začne počasi prebujati.

After her husband’s death, Hana lives on alone in the family villa. Her two sons visit her with their families, but these visits frequently end in quarrels. When Hana meets Brona, a hardy fellow, inured to winter swimming, a new world opens before her. Brona’s team-mates absorb her into their team and Hana gradually learns to overcome her fear of icy water. Her relation with Brona grows into love.

Nekaj Palestincev, pridržanih v izraelskem zaporu, deli svoje izkušnje s terapijo, s katero poskušajo zdraviti svoje travme. / Some Palestinians who were held in an Israeli detention center are assembled to re-enact their experience in an effort to heal.

Raed Andoni da v Ramallah oglas. Išče bivše sojetnike v centru za pridržanje Moskobiya v Jeruzalemu. V oglasu navede, naj imajo možje izkušnje kot obrtniki, arhitekti in igralci. Po iskanju igralcev, ki spominja na igro vlog, poskrbi za repliko sob za zasliševanje in celic, ki jih v merilu zgradijo v dvorani – pod budnim nadzorom bivših jetnikov in na podlagi njihovih spominov. V tem realističnem okolju možje eden za drugim poustvarjajo svoja zaslišanja, govorijo o podrobnosti v zaporu in izražajo ponižanje, ki so izkusili med zaporom. Director Raed Andoni places a newspaper advertisement in Ramallah. He is looking for former inmates of the Moskobiya interrogation centre in Jerusalem. In his ad he asks that the men should also have experience as craftsmen, architects or actors. After a casting process that almost feels like role play, he arranges for a replica of the centre’s interrogation rooms and cells to be built to scale inside a hall – under close supervision from the former inmates and based on their memories. In this realistic setting the men subsequently re-enact their interrogations, discuss details about the prison, and express the humiliation they experienced during their detention. Using techniques that are reminiscent of the so-called ‘theatre of the oppressed’ they work together to dramatise their real-life experiences. Their reconstruction brings long repressed emotions and undealt with trauma to the fore. Working on the film takes its toll on the men – both physically and mentally. The director also appears in front of the camera; not only is he creating a stage for his protagonists, he is also coming to terms with his own fragmented memories of imprisonment in Moskobiya thirty years previously.

After years abroad in Italy, Shadi (Saleh Bakri) returns to his native Nazareth. But this is no spectacular homecoming. He’s back somewhat begrudgingly to honour his “wajib” (or duty) to hand out invitations to his sister’s wedding with his father, Abu Shadi (played by Saleh Bakri’s real-life father, actor-director Mohammad Bakri). The simmering tension between the two — who are often stuck in a car, more often than not in traffic — builds, exposing the sometimes-comic chasms that exist between men who live in different worlds but share an unshakeable bond.

Film Delo sledi trem moškim med sodelovanjem v štiridnevni skupinski terapiji z najnevarnejšimi zaporniki. V štirih dneh se vsak moški v sobi poglobi v svojo preteklost. Surov in drzen proces, ki se ga ti moški lotijo, preseže pričakovanja svobodnih mož, jih iztrga iz njihovih con udobja in jih prisili, da sebe in jetnike pogledajo z nenavadnih plati. Film The Work follows three men from outside as they participate in a four-day group therapy retreat with level-four convicts.Over the four days, each man in the room takes his turn at delving deep into his past. The raw and revealing process that the incarcerated men undertake exceeds the expectations of the free men, ripping them out of their comfort zones and forcing them to see themselves and the prisoners in unexpected ways. Film The Work offers a powerful and rare look past the cinder block walls, steel doors and the dehumanizing tropes in our culture.

Med ruševinami skoraj zapuščenega rudarskega mesta se odvijajo življenja, sanje in usode nenavadnih junakov. / The lives, dreams, and destinies of extraordinary characters unfold in this impressionist dreamscape amid the ruins of a semi-abandoned mining town.

Do 50 odstotkov svetovnih zalog mangana, pomembne kovine, so izkopali v mestu Chiatura v zahodni Gruziji. Danes mesto spominja na apokaliptično mesto duhov. Film predstavlja nekaj preostalih prebivalcev. Učitelj glasbe Zurab podira razpadajoča betonska poslopja in prodaja železne tramove, da bi zaslužil nekaj dodatnega denarja. Up to 50 percent of the world’s manganese, a vital metal across the globe, used to be mined in Chiatura, in western Georgia. Today, it resembles an apocalyptic ghost town and film portrays a few of the remaining inhabitants. Music teacher Zurab dismantles ramshackle concrete buildings and sells the iron girders to make some money on the side. Archil still works in the mine but his real passion is the local amateur theatre group. Despite being malnourished, two young female athletes still train stoically for the next Olympic Games. Oneli provides fascinating insights into a living environment whose bleak industrial ruins appear at once colossal and like a film set. A jumble of clapped out electric wires and aging cable cars runs through the city like the clogged-up arteries of an ailing organism that resists the flow of life in untiring fashion. City of the Sun brings home the ephemeral nature of utopias. In a city where the sun never shines, it is only its inhabitants that generate warmth.

Daleč od doma se 17-letna Ying Ling uči za negovalko v enem največjih pogrebnih zavodov na Kitajskem. Čeprav se boji duhov, bo vztrajala zaradi družine. Spoprijatelji se s sodelavcem Jin Hauom. V prostem času se šalita drug z drugim, kar je dobrodošla sprostitev od dnevne rutine v mrtvašnici. Ko se Jin Hau odloči oditi, Ying Ling ostane sama. Čeprav obvlada svoj posel, se odloči v svoje življenje uvesti spremembo.

Far from home, afraid of the dark, 17-year-old Ying Ling is training to become a mortician in one of China’s largest funeral homes. Despite her fear of ghosts, Ying Ling is determined to stick it out for her family’s sake. She strikes up a special friendship with her co-worker Jin Hau. In their spare time, bantering playfully with each other, a welcome relief from the daily grind at the funeral home. When Jin Hau decides to leave, Ying Ling is left alone. Even though she masters the art of the mortician’s spa, she finally resolves to change her life.

In Hungary’s post World War I depression era, a wanted one-eyed killer and retired gendarme lieutenant fells in love with a suicidal and disillusioned harlot. In hope of much-needed money, he seeks out one of his old cronies, a now wealthy butcher and businessman, to collect a debt. Tensions are running high as an eternal triangle is about to take shape between the butcher, the harlot and the one-eyed cutthroat.

Ziad Kalthoum ustvari esejski dokumentarec o sirskih gradbincih, ki v Bejrutu gradijo nebotičnike na ruševinah, ki so ostale po libanonski državljanski vojni. Istočasno v Siriji razstreljujejo njihove hiše. Zaradi policijske ure po službi ne smejo zapuščati gradbišča. Vsak dan jih v njihovi luknji pod nebotičnikom preganjajo novice iz domovine in spomini na vojno. Nemi in zaprti v cementno podzemlje morajo zdržati do naslednjega dne, ko z razbijanjem in varjenjem utapljajo svoje more.

A portrait of workers in exile. An empathetic encounter with people who have lost their past and their future, locked in the recurring present. Ziad Kalthoum creates an essay documentary of Syrian construction workers building new skyscrapers in Beirut on the ruins caused by the Lebanese civil war. At the same time their own houses are being bombed in Syria. A Curfew prohibits them from leaving the construction site after work. Every night in their pit below the skyscraper the news from their homeland and the memories of the war chase them. Mute and imprisoned in the cement underground, they must endure until the new day arrives where the hammering and welding drowns out their nightmares.

Potovanje med srednjeveškimi freskami v samostanu se spremeni v popotovanje v neznano. / A trip to find medieval frescos turns into a journey into the unknown.

Stola je preživljal poletje v soparni meglici festivalskih zabav. Nekega dne naleti na starega znanca Rocka, ki v bližnjem samostanu odkriva srednjeveške freske. Roko prepriča Stolo in skupino obiskovalcev zabave, da se mu pridružijo pri iskanju. Ko se jim sredi ničesar pokvari avtobus, se izlet spremeni v alegorično potovanje v neznano.

Stola has been spending his summer in the sweltering haze of festival parties. But one day, he runs into Roko, an old acquaintance, who is on a mission to discover medieval frescoes at a nearby monastery. Roko convinces Stola and a random group of partygoers to join him in his search. However, when their bus breaks down in the middle of nowhere, their brief excursion turns into an allegorical journey into the unknown.

Stiliziran portret avtentičnega češkega neonacista, ki sovraži svoje življenje, a ne ve, kaj naj spremeni. Absurdna in strašna tragikomedija preiskuje radikalen pogled na svet ‘spodobnih, običajnih ljudi’. / A stylized portrait of an authentic Czech neo- Nazi, who hates his life but doesn’t know what to change. Corrosively absurd and starkly chilling in equal measure, this tragicomedy investigates the radical worldview of ‘decent, ordinary people’.

Daliborek je industrijski slikar, amaterski avtor grozljivk, skladatelj jeznih pesmi in radikalen neonacist. Bliža se 40. rojstnemu dnevu, a še vedno živi z mamo. Sovraži svojo službo, cigane, jude, begunce, homoseksualce, Merklovo, pajke in zobozdravnike. Sovraži svoje življenje, a ne ve, kako bi ga spremenil. Prelomnica se zgodi, ko njegova mama začne novo romanco in Daliborek se odloči, da si bo poiskal prvo punco. Film preizkusi prikazati spremembo položaja osamljenega moškega, ki je posvetil svoje življenje sovraštvu in laži. Tragikomedija o življenjih ‘spodobnih, običajnih Čehov’, ki pogrešajo Hitlerja.

Daliborek is an industrial painter, amateur horror maker, angry songs composer and a radical neo-Nazi. He is approaching 40, but he still lives with his mother. He hates his job, gypsies, Jews, refugees, homosexuals, Merkel, spiders and dentists. He hates his life, but he doesn’t know how to change it. The turning point is when his mother starts new romance, and Daliborek decides to finally find his first love. The experiment is set to investigate and change the situation of lonely man, after he devoted his life to hate and lie. Tragicomedy about lives of ‘decent ordinary Czechs’ who miss Hitler.
